Acceptance

Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). In case of any inconsistency between these Terms and any other published material, these Terms prevail.

The Promotion will take place during the following period:

End: December 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM, Cayman Islands time
No promotions will be accepted outside this period.

Eligibility Guidelines

The promotion is open to natural persons who are legal residents of the Cayman Islands and eighteen (18) years of age or older. Participants must be residents of the Cayman Islands at the time of entry and must hold a personal debit or credit Mastercard issued by Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited.

To qualify, the cardholder’s account must be in good standing, and their contact information (address, email, and phone number) must be up to date at the time of entry and at any point of validation.

Corporate, business, or other non-personal cardholders are excluded from this promotion.

Details of Promotion

The promotion offers exclusive benefits to Butterfield Mastercard cardholders at select merchants in the Cayman Islands during specified periods (the “Promotion”). Unless otherwise stated, benefits apply to all Butterfield Mastercard credit and debit cardholders and must be redeemed by using a Butterfield Mastercard credit or debit card at the participating location. The following benefits are included in this promotion:

Participating establishments are subject to their own terms and conditions of service, and it is the responsibility of the promotion beneficiary to comply with them. Unless otherwise specified in these Terms, the offers are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. All offers must be accepted as presented. No modifications will be permitted, except as provided in these Terms. The Bank is not responsible for any benefits that are lost, unavailable, declined, or tampered with in any way.

NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, THE BANK RESERVES THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO WITHHOLD OR CANCEL THE PROMOTION FOR ANY REASON.

Statement of Availability

Availability of benefits under this campaign may vary by merchant and is subject to specific conditions including limited quantities, designated days and times, and cardholder tier eligibility. Some benefits may require advance registration or booking through the campaign landing page and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Certain offers are only valid during specific activations or event editions, while others are redeemable exclusively within predefined hours or days of the week. The Bank does not guarantee benefit availability at any given time and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any benefit without prior notice.

Redemption Process

Cardholders must use their valid Butterfield Mastercard to redeem benefits at participating merchants or platforms as outlined in the campaign details. Some benefits require advance registration or booking through the campaign landing page to qualify for redemption.

Redemptions will be honored according to the terms and conditions of each offer and are subject to verification by the merchant or platform. The Bank and merchants reserve the right to refuse redemption if eligibility criteria are not met or if the promotion has ended or reached capacity.

Cardholders are responsible for following any specific redemption instructions and timelines indicated for each benefit. The Bank is not responsible for any failed or denied redemptions caused by non-compliance with these instructions or by technical issues outside its control.

Anti-Fraud Rules

Reproduction, sale, or any other unauthorised use of the benefits or promotional codes is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the promotion will result in immediate disqualification.

Suspected Tampering of Promotion

If this campaign cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the Bank’s control that compromises the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the campaign, Butterfield Bank reserves the right (subject to applicable law), at its sole discretion, to cancel or disqualify any participant reasonably suspected of tampering with the promotion.

Warranties

To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Bank excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees (“Warranties”) regarding the promotion, including any Warranties which may have been made while advertising or promoting the initiative. The conduct of the initiative may involve third parties, and the Bank makes no Warranties and disclaims all liability in connection with any such third parties, their acts, or omissions.

By entering the initiative, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Bank and its related bodies corporate (including the officers, employees and agents of each) from and against all actions, penalties, liabilities, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Bank or that the Bank may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the initiative, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.

Social Media

From time to time the Bank may use Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat collectively, (“Social Media Providers”) to advertise or promote the Promotion and any prize winner of the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any Social Media Provider and to release the Social Media Providers from all liability in relation to the Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Bank and not the Social Media Providers.

Governing Law

The promotion and these Terms will be governed by the law of the Cayman Islands. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of the Cayman Islands in connection with disputes concerning the promotion.

6. Eligible Entrants

The promotion is open to Mastercard debit and credit cardholders of the Bank. Entrants must be legal residents of Bermuda or the Cayman Islands, aged eighteen (18) years or older, and residing in their respective jurisdiction at the time of entry.

Directors, employees, suppliers (including their staff), contractors of the Bank and its related entities, and their immediate family members or those residing in the same household are ineligible.

A customer’s account must be in good standing, and their personal contact details (address, e-mail and phone number) must be current at the time of entry and winner selection.

7. Consumption Target

All eligible Mastercard debit and credit cardholders who make individual purchases of USD $20 or more during the campaign period will qualify for prize entry. There is no invitation or registration required to participate. Each qualifying transaction earns entries toward the campaign prizes.

8. Details of prizes for the Spend Target

Cardholders who make at least one qualifying transaction of USD $20 or more on any given day during the campaign period will automatically be entered into that day’s raffle to win:
One (1) USD $100 Amazon Digital Gift Card (awarded per day).

Each jurisdiction will have its own separate raffle. That means there will be a daily raffle in the Cayman Islands and another in Bermuda, each awarding a $100 Amazon digital gift card.
The more transactions they make, the more chances they’ll have to win.
Winners of the $100 daily raffle can only win the $100 prize once during the campaign period.

9. Transactions Outside Bermuda and Cayman Islands

Purchases made with a Butterfield Mastercard outside Bermuda or the Cayman Islands, or in any currency other than USD, will be converted to USD using Butterfield’s currency conversion process at the time the transaction is posted. For the purposes of this promotion, such transactions will qualify toward the eligibility threshold if the converted amount is USD $20 or more after applying Butterfield’s exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Each transaction of USD $20 or more made with a Butterfield Mastercard debit or credit card during the campaign period will count as one (1) entry into the Grand Prize draw. Cardholders from each jurisdiction will compete only against others from the same jurisdiction.

12. Entry requirements for Secondary Prize

- Each qualifying transaction of USD $20 or more earns one entry into the Grand Prize draw.
- There is no cap on the number of entries per cardholder.
- More qualifying purchases increase chances of winning.
- One Grand Prize per jurisdiction.

13. Maximum number of entries

There is no maximum number of entries set. Participants can make as many transactions as they please during campaign duration. Each qualifying transaction gives a chance to win the grand prize.

14. Prize Draw

Daily Draws: Winners of each daily raffle will be announced on a weekly basis, between Thursday and Friday, two weeks after the qualifying transaction. Each week, one daily winner will be selected per jurisdiction, resulting in 14 daily winners.

Grand Prize Draw: Scheduled for 31st of October 2025 at: 65 Front Street, Hamilton, HM12, BERMUDA. Draws are not open to the public.

15. Notification of winners

Winners will be contacted via email or phone, using their contact details registered with the Bank, within five (5) business days of the draw.

16. Forfeited prizes

If a winner does not respond and/or collects their prize within five (5) business days, the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited.

17. Unclaimed prize draw

Should a winner be deemed to have forfeited their prize, a second chance winner will be selected for the unclaimed prize within ten (10) business days.

18. Notification of unclaimed prize winners

Unclaimed prize winners will be notified via the email address set out in their customer profile with the Bank no later than five (5) business days from the date of the unclaimed prize draw.

19. Invalid entries

The Bank accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries.

20. Resolution

The Bank expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit. The Bank’s decision will be final and binding.

21. Prizes consisting of travel and/or activities

Prizes consisting of travel and/or activities and all elements of the travel and/or activity must be taken as and when offered or will be forfeited.

Additional conditions include:
(i) Validity periods (including black-out periods).
(ii) Booking and availability of flights, accommodation and events.
(iii) A requirement that the prize winner and guest travel together on the same itinerary.
(iv) Conditions of travel (including behavior requirements).
(v) Travel dates and specified travel exclusion periods.
(vi) Any additional fees (payable by you) relating to changes made by you to a prize after it has been booked.
(vii) The requirement to obtain all necessary documents (passport, visas).
(viii) A requirement to present your credit card when checking in to accommodation.
(ix) A requirement that any person taking the prize must be over the age of 18 years.
(x) Details of the travel and/or activities may be subject to change.

The prize winner and guest are jointly responsible for obtaining any travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance).

22. Travel and/or Activities at your Own Risk

(i) Some aspects of such travel or activity may be inherently risky and may involve dangerous activities.
(ii) Undertaking such travel or activity is at your own risk and sole discretion.
(iii) The Bank and prize supplier make no representation as to the safety or conditions at any destination.

23. Unspecified Costs

Winners are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to a prize, including but not limited to meals, transport, insurance, special seating, baggage fees, gratuities, taxes, mobile plans, etc.

24. Prize Sharing (if applicable)

The Bank and/or any prize supplier are not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to share your prize.

25. Prize Vouchers

Any voucher, certificate, gift card, or pre-paid money card shall be valid until the expiry date stated. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.

26. Suspected Tampering of Promotion

If the promotion is not capable of running as planned due to unauthorized intervention, fraud, or causes beyond the control of the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to cancel or disqualify entries.

27. Warranties

The Bank excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees regarding the promotion and any prizes, except where prohibited by law.

28. Privacy Policy

29. Social Media

The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any Social Media Provider. Entrants release Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc., from all liability.

30. Publicity Releases

Winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for promotional purposes.

31. Tax Implications

It is possible that tax implications may arise from accepting a prize. The Bank does not accept responsibility for tax implications.

32. Governing Law

The promotion and these Terms will be governed by the law of Bermuda or the Cayman Islands, as applicable.
